Thisdata dive looks at fiveyearsof data regarding themajorsthatstudentslisted as their primary interest on Niche. We looked at over 3.2 millionstudentswho had completed profiles to update our last overview of intendedmajortrends.
Of 1,000 current undergraduate and graduatestudents, about 1 in 5 (21%) report experiencing doubts about choosing the rightmajoror field of study frequently or very frequently. One-third (33%) say they occasionally have doubts, and 38% rarely or very rarely have doubts. Just 8% ofstudentssay they never have doubts about theirmajor.
